Columbus police are searching for a man who robbed the East Side Chevron last Thursday night.
About 8 p.m. a man with a pink towel over his face entered the convenience store, brandished a gun and demanded that the clerk empty the register. He was last seen fleeing east on foot.
CPD officers, including a K-9, flooded the area but were unable to find him.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151 or the Columbus Reward Line at 1-877-273-4552. Information that leads to a conviction could lead to a $5,000 reward.
