John Nuesch, the longtime president of American Glass Company, has been identified as the second victim in a Monroe County plane crash earlier this week.
Nuesch, 64, and the pilot, Richard Arlin Justice, 73, of Hatley, were killed when their plane went down Tuesday morning shortly after taking off from the Monroe County Airport.
Nuesch was a native of Memphis. American Glass’ projects include work at Mississippi State University, including the renovation of the Colvard Student Union and work at the offices at Bryant Denny Stadium, as well as Airbus Helicopters near Golden Triangle Regional Airport.
Services are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Friendship Cemetery with Gerard Hurley officiating. Visitation is from noon until 1:45 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Home.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
