A second suspect in the shooting inside O-Kay Foods is in custody.
According to the Columbus Police Department, Justin Williams, 26, of Columbus, turned himself in to investigators April 11. He is facing aggravated assault charges after allegedly being involved in the March 21 shooting inside the neighborhood grocery store.
CPD identified him as a person of interest earlier that same day.
Leronn Klayshay Gregory, 25, was also arrested in connection with the shooting. Gregory was out on bail on a murder charge when the O-Kay Foods shooting occurred.
The incident was the most recent of several shootings near the store in the past several years. In the wake of the most recent incident, the city cracked down, and owner “Sam” Nagi began closing at 5 p.m. rather than 11 p.m. He also put up surveillance cameras and agreed to be more helpful to investigators in the future.
