On Friday morning, June, 2, the Starkville Police Department charged 35-year-old Tyrus D. Taylor, of Jackson, with aggravated assault (shooting), possession of weapon by a felon, and possession of controlled substance, cocaine. This incident occurred on Pilcher Street.
Taylor was transported to the Oktibbeha County Jail. Taylor’s initial municipal court appearance is scheduled for Monday, July 10, 2017, at 6:00 P.M.
