A man is in custody after alert officers heard a burglar alarm at a Highway 45 business.
About 5 a.m. on June 13 Columbus Police Department officers heard an alarm going off at Express Oil Change, 2336 Highway 45 North, and stopped to investigate. Dispatchers told them that additional alarms were being set off inside, and they soon found Lamar Cobby Williams, of 2305 Highway 45 North Apt. C, allegedly hiding inside.
Williams was arrested and charged with burglary of a business. Municipal Judge Gary Goodwin denied bond.
