On Sunday, September 1st, Zachary’s hosted “Help for Houston”, a fundraiser for Hurricane Harvey victims in Houston, Texas and the surrounding areas. All proceeds from the event will go to Global Living, a crowd-funded non-profit. Unlike many other organizations, donations will go directly to the local organizations such as Houston Food Bank and Houston Humane Society, for example, who help those in need and focus on the long term. Other sponsors of the event included: Better Brands, Clark Beverage and Budweiser. Huck’s Place also served food at the event. Local musicians provided live music during the event, which was well-attended throughout the afternoon. As a result of all their efforts, almost $5,000 was raised.
