In a ruling issued this week, Circuit Judge Jim Kitchens has refused wife-beater Brian Clark’s request for bond.

Clark appeared before Kitchens on June 1 to ask to be released on bond while his appeal is being considered. Clark pled guilty to aggravated assault domestic violence in May 2017. He had been arrested in 2013 for the brutal beating of his wife. In September 2017 Kitchens sentenced him to 10 years in prison. By the time of the sentencing, his case had been continued 15 times.

Clark’s family owns Clark Oil and Gas.
