The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Thursday afternoon shooting.
According to Sheriff Mike Arledge, at about 4:30 p.m. deputies responded to 508 Lehmberg Road after a reported shooting. When they arrived they found that someone had fired multiple rounds into a house. The homeowner was inside, but nobody was injured.
