The Columbus Police Department is asking for assistance in locating a missing person. James Ryan Taylor, 39, of Plymouth Road, Columbus was reported missing by family members. He was last seen by his family on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
He was last seen driving a silver Ford Fiesta with tag number LTE 7723. A family member talked to him via phone later that night (next morning) between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. A family friend said they saw him approximately 2 a.m. that same morning but did not indicate where he was seen.
“We are asking for the public to help us locate Mr. Taylor,” said Columbus Police Chief Fred Shelton. “He has many friends, and we ask anyone who has seen or communicated with him in any way to call us. Taylor is described as a white male wearing a white t-shirt and jeans, 175 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
