Nap While Driving Sends Three To Hospital

A single-vehicle accident on Saturday at 10:48 a.m. sent three people to the hospital by ambulance. According to the driver, who stated he fell asleep, the accident occurred in the 1000 block of Gatlin Road when the vehicle went off the right side of the road, hit a culvert, and flipped. District 2 VFD responded, and Lowndes County deputies worked on the scene.
The condition of the injured was not known at press time.
