Lowndes County deputies are investigating a series of burglaries that occurred in southern Lowndes County. On July 22, 2023, deputies responded to the area of Old Macon Road and Lime Rock Road after receiving a report of a black 2019 Can-Am Defender, a drill press, a water sump pump, a gas-powered wood splitter, and other items being stolen.

On July 25, 2023, around 04:00, the suspect returned to the same address and robbed the victim a second time. This time, the suspect was captured on surveillance cameras. Detectives have now arrested 38-year-old Anthony Saxon Frymire in connection with the stolen items and charged him with Grand Larceny. Detectives identified Frymire as a suspect after he pawned some of the stolen items at a local pawn shop.

Frymire was then arrested by authorities at the Winston County Correctional Center while he was trying to bail out his girlfriend, who was arrested for an aggravated trafficking of methamphetamine charge. Frymire is well known to detectives, and he has been booked into the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center 10 previous times for 15 different misdemeanor charges and 14 different felony charges. The charges range from aggravated assault, felony domestic violence, felony fleeing, violation of probation, grand larceny, felony taking of a motor vehicle, and burglary. Frymire is currently under indictment for burglary and was out on a $56,726.00 bond. Detectives will ask the court to revoke his current bond and hold him in jail.

Lowndes County detectives have recovered some of the stolen items but are still looking for the stolen 2019 Can-Am Defender. Detectives believe that Frymire has sold the Can-Am to an unwilling participant. This investigation is ongoing, and if more victims are located, additional charges will be added.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this case or the whereabouts of the Can-Am or any other possible stolen items connected to Frymire to contact the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office at (662)328-6788, Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151, or access the P3-Tips app by using the following QR code.
